Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Matthew 7:13-14

Knights of Columbus

There is no better way to live your Catholic faith in these challenging times than by becoming a member of the Knights of Columbus at St Clare of Assisi! If you are a practicing Catholic man 18 years of age or older, you are already qualified!

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in 1882 by Father Michael McGivney, the Order is dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in parishes and communities. In British Columbia and the Yukon the Knights number nearly 10,500 men and counting!

Our Council at St Clare’s will afford you the opportunity to add your time, talent and treasures to those of other faithful, like-minded men in our parish to help our parish flourish. You will always be supported as you contribute to areas of parish and community life that most interest you. Our core committees focus on Church, Council, Community, Youth and Families and provide an excellent vehicle for every willing Catholic gentleman to become more involved in the parish and their faith.
