Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, "How can this man give us His flesh to eat?"

So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.

John 6:52-53

Altar Server

Altar serving provides opportunities for young people (boys and girls who have received their first confession and communion) to actively participate in the Mass. Serving during Mass provides support for the priest and allows the youth to familiarize themselves with the rituals of our faith. They have several supporting duties to carry out, such as carrying the processional cross and candles, carrying the incense and thurible, holding the missal for the priest celebrant when he is not at the altar, assisting the priest when he receives the gifts from the people, washing the hands of the priest before the prayer over the gifts and removing items from the altar during communion.

Anyone interested in becoming an altar server should speak with Father.
