"Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but
yours; yours are the eyes through which to look at Christ's compassion to the
world, yours are the feet with which He is to go about doing good, and yours
are the hands with which He is to bless us now."

St. Teresa of Avila

Stewardship Committee

Stewardship can be defined simply as making the most responsible use of one’s gifts and resources. As Christians initiated into the Church through the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Eucharist, we become the caretakers of all that God has given to us. Stewardship involves the sharing of individual time, talent, and treasure, as well as the commitment of communal resources in service to the community of faith. Evangelization, word, and service are all interrelated with the element of stewardship and vice versa. Together these elements form the community of faith which carries out its call to discipleship.

The Stewardship Committee at St. Clare’s was formed in January of 2008. There are currently 8 members serving a two-year term. We meet on a monthly basis. If you are interested in becoming a member of the stewardship committee please contact Roxanne at 604-468-7393.
